Our rescue pet of the week is just a little one. Meet Sugar. Here's the word from Lisa of Pine Valley Shih Tzu Rescue:
"Sugar is a cream color, 13 month old (liver) Shih Tzu who is just as sweet as her name implies.
"Sugar is not yet available for adoption, as she requires hip replacement surgery. Yes! Unbelievable, but true. Fortunately, only one hip needs repair and she will be having the surgery next week.

"We are now accepting donations for her medical bills and appreciate any amount. Sugar will be fostering and recuperating with one of our wonderful foster moms and family."
