Take a Survey, Protect the Schuylkill

The Delaware Riverkeeper Network wants to implement a system that would predict pathogen levels in the river.

The Schuylkill River is as easy to love as it is difficult to spell. So why not help protect it?

If you’re a boater, a water sport enthusiast, or just a nature lover, the Delaware Riverkeeper Network is asking you to fill out a quick survey that will give it a clearer sense of how exactly locals use the river.

The upshot: the organization is preparing a feasibility study for a system that would forecast levels of viruses and bacteria in the river. Modeled after The Philly Rivercast, the proposed system would predict pathogen levels in the Schuylkill from Pottstown to Phoenixville; making it a safer, and healthier, place to play.
