The church isn;t there, but I going out on limb here and say this is the corner of Buttonwood Street and Third Ave., across from Holy Family School.

I think the picture is on the north side Morgan Street between Main and Gay Streets. Furthermore, the "church" that nephew Brad is referring to was the original Hungarian church, founded early in the 1900s, and is now a duplex house at the corner of Buttonwood Street and Third Avenue.

Sacred Heart Church on Church Street. To the right is the current rectory, and to the left is the old Borough Hall, now site of the municipal parking lot.

Senior center on Church St. Old Borough hall next to it, which is now a parking lot.

Mark Chester is right. That is the original Sacred Heart Church building and rectory. The rectory is still there.

I should add that there is still a church there, it's the "newer" Sacred Heart Church building, I think built in the early 1920's.

Indeed Mark is correct, The old borough hall gives it away. I remember the design of the window's.....however, i am too young to remember the "original" sacred heart church. But the rectory is indeed still there and much improved over the years.. Would have liked to see the inside of the old church.

This is going to be the Rectory and next to it on the left is a Methodist Church which Sacred Heart purchased and 5 years later Sacred Heart Church was open for the Slovak people. Sacred Heart is an ethnic Slovak Church!!!!!!!!!!!!!
