I am going to take a guess with this. The part I am pretty positive about is that the building is located on Bridge street. It appears as if there is an alley next to this building with another building on the other side of the alley. So, I am taking a guess at this part because the building has been remodeld a little. I am going to say that the place in this picture is where Save More is now.

No, that's the beautiful building Barry Chendorain restored, next to Marley's which he restored as well. He has been a blessing to this god foresaken town. He is a true artist! Phoenixville should forever be in his debt...

Thank you Barry Chendorain!

This is a little difficult, I know that Yarnall's Stationery store was on main St. during the 50's, later became Smith's. I remember Grace Yarnell Young, a wonderful artist. But, I digress. The store front in this pic. does indeed look like the store front on lower Bridge St. that Barry C. restored. But if it is then it was taken when I was 1 yr. old. so don't remember it. LOL. And Chandlee, I agree with you 100%, Barry is a great "restorer" his work is outstanding. I was horrified to see that the owner's of Marley's painted over his wonderful wood stain on the bottom front of their establishment, what in hell were they thinking ??? Obviously they were'nt thinking. A lot of time was spent preparing and finishing that area of the front. They ruined a perfect job with cheap paint....UGH.

Really?

This store is on a hill between prospect and church st .It is on a corner and on the right side of the street going up the hill. So this store is on the corner of main and prospect.
