This Week's Rescue Pet: She Talks Back

Meet Smora, a Siamese mix.

This week's rescue pet is a friendly feline named Smora. She's a Siamese mix, and lives up to the breed's tendency for "talking."

Here's the word from Laura of Cat Angel Network:

“Even if you are already owned by more than one cat, you'll definitely want "some more" when you meet Smora, a very beautiful Siamese mix female kitty who was born in 2009.

“Smora is one of the most wonderful kitties you'll ever find. She was found wandering around a nice neighborhood in Downingtown, where she was well known for hanging out with all the young kids. She just loved it when they would play with her. Luckily for Smora, one of the kids was a piano student of a Cat Angel Network foster mom, who knew she deserved a family of her very own and rescued her from the streets.

“An extremely friendly and affectionate kitty, Smora is also quite the talker. She'll offer a running commentary throughout the day—she must have lots of important things to say! She's very eager for attention and will talk to you to let you know she enjoys interacting with you. Sometimes she may sound a little grumbly but she's really not complaining; it's just her way of showing you lots of affection. She absolutely loves to be petted and rubbed, and especially loves to have her ears scratched. She'll purr and talk and grumble with delight.
