10th Annual Fiber Festival at Phoenixville Farmers' Market

10th Annual Fiber Festival at Phoenixville Farmers' Market

Have you ever wondered how yarn is made?  On Saturday you'll have the chance to see yarn in the making as local handspinners gather to demonstrate and sell their locally made woolen goods.  One of the highlights of the day will be watching Cindy Pierson spin yarn with hair from a live angora rabbit sitting on her lap!  If you are a knitter, you won't want to miss this market.  Cooler weather is on the way and you will find lots of warm woolen locally handmade items for sale.

Performing jazz music on stage at the market from 10am to 1pm will be the Kevin MacConnell trio.  The concert is FREE.

The market will also be overflowing with fresh, local food: fresh pasta, artisan breads, gourmet gelato, apples, cider, vegetables, beef, pork, veal, bison, poultry, eggs, cheese, cupcakes, chocolate, coffee, tea AND you can pick up breakfast or lunch from the Sunflower Cafe Truckstop!
