Arbor Day Tree Planting

In celebration of Arbor Day, the Borough will be planting 40 trees on the morning of Saturday, April 26th. Trees were purchased through a grant from the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society in conjuction with their TreeVitalize program and Plant One Million campaign. They will be planted in parks and along streets around the Borough.

The volunteer group will meet at Reeves Park at 9 am near the playground. The Mayor and a representative from the PA-DCNR will be in attendance to read the Arbor Day proclamation and present Phoenixville with a Tree City USA Growth Award. Then several trees will planted in Reeves Park before the volunteers split up and plant the remaining
trees in other locations.

This is a great way for residents and families to give back to the
community and enjoy the outdoors in celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day. If you are interested in volunteering
please contact the Phoenixville Tree Advisory Commission at
