Chesco Pops Concert at Phoenixville Area Middle School
The Chester County Pops Orchestra, in partnership with Phoenixville Public
Library, will present "Ellis Island: The Dream of America" by
composer Peter Boyer at Phoenixville Area Middle School, 1330 Main St.,
Phoenixville, PA, on Sunday, January 26 at 3:00 PM.
The concert will be a unique and
very entertaining multimedia performance with actors, video projections, and
original music. The composition is truly moving and a powerful testament to the
experiences of thousands of immigrants in the first half of the twentieth
century. Sixty-five of Chester County’s finest instrumental players will
be brought together for the performance, under the direction of new Music
Director Joseph Gehring.
The Chesco Pops is again partnering
with Phoenixville Public Library. For the price of a ticket, a
concertgoer will enjoy a fabulous Chesco Pops performance and also support the
ongoing community programs and activities of the Library. A percentage of
ticket revenues will be awarded to the Library.

Ticket prices are $15 for an adult,
$12 for a senior (62 plus), and ALL children and students will be admitted
FREE. Tickets will be available at the Library and at the door, and are
available online now at www.chescopops.org.
