Parents! Do you need a “free” Friday evening? Would you like to have a few hours to do some Christmas shopping alone or with a friend? How about seeing a movie or having a nice quiet dinner?

The Montgomery County 4-H Teen Council is sponsoring a Youth Fun Night for children ages 5 – 11 years old, Friday, December 14, 2011 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the 4-H Center on Route 113 just outside Skippack.

Teen Council has fun activities planned: movie, games, crafts, and pasta dinner.

Drop your children off to spend time having fun with other children while you run errands or just have some quiet time for yourself!

Cost is $8.00 per child with pre-registration. $10.00 per child at the door.

The 4-H Center is located at 1015 Bridge Road (Rt. 113), Collegeville, PA 19426. Close to the Skippack shops, Limerick Outlets and many other shopping and dining venues. Please email montcoteencouncil@yahoo.com to pre-register your child(ren) including names, ages and your contact information.

When dropping off your child(ren), please allow time to complete the medical form for their safety.

The owners also own Dany's Diner formerly the Paoli Diner, so this will not be their firstRead More successful venture. The area where La Taverna was situated has been remodeled & opened up into a Sports Bar with multiple big screen televisions, a dining area, a spot for live entertainment, as well as umbrella-ed tables for outdoor dining. A full menu is available in the bar during the diner's operating hours and scales down into a bar menu with a fine selection. Currently, the establishment is at the mercy of Harrisburg & patiently awaiting the transfer of the liquor license. As you enter through the main doors under the portico, you are greeted by friendly hostesses & the most scrumptious desserts one has ever seen. The baking is done in house and the portions are enormous for the price. A coffee bar is open during the morning hours for those on the go. Taking the place of the exercise room one can now enjoy a full diner menu with breakfast served ALL day long. The menu also includes tasty Greek delicacies including spinach pie and pastichio. For a new establishment with a new wait staff & cooks, the food was served hot & was absolutely delicious. All of the servers were extremely efficient & friendly considering the pace at which the diner filled up. Cash & credit are accepted. Also heard that there will be rooms available for business meeting, private dinners, & small parties! Perfect location with parking, delicious food, & friendly staff/owners!
