Fiddler on the Roof

Local youth in Facetime Theatre Summer Stage I will present three performances of the unforgettable musical "Fiddler on the Roof" on July 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. and July 19 at 2 p.m. in the Lenfest Theater at Ursinus College. Students from 4th grade through college will perform this touching tale of Tevye and his family in the colorful little village of Anatevka. Rich in historical detail, Fiddler's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion with beloved songs like "Sunrise, Sunset," "If I Were A Rich Man," and "Matchmaker, Matchmaker."

This is Facetime's third year of summer stage camps and performances. Last year Facetime summer stage performed "The Music Man" and in 2012, "Oliver!"  Both drew sold-out crowds to the beautiful 380-seat Lenfest Theater.

The Lenfest Theater is located in the Kaleidoscope Performing Arts Center at Ursinus College, 601 East Main St., Collegeville, PA. Enter the campus through the west entrance on 9th Ave. and drive straight into the Kaleidoscope parking lot.
