Outdoor Contemporary Music and Worship

St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church of Valley Forge to hold outdoor worship services each Wednesday evening, June 19 through July 31, at the church on Walker Road in the Glen Hardie section of Wayne. Services begin at 7 p.m. Music will be performed by local favorite, Bees in a Bottle, an independent folk-rock trio.

St. Matthew’s Pastor Dawn Taylor-Storm announced the new program of contemporary music and worship will be held on the front steps of the church. Families, singles, neighbors and friends from the Western Main Line and beyond are invited to attend and enjoy some excellent music and a few moments of reflection on God and his place in your life. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket and a sweater for cooler evenings.

Bees in a Bottle music is marked by expertly crafted songs, crystalline female vocals, intricate guitar work, and skilled rhythms. The Bees are known to be insightful whose original sound resonates deeply.

“Soul-soothing music,” said WXLV radio show host, Phil Stahl. WXLV radio is a staple of the Lehigh Valley. “It’s always a pleasure to have these fine song crafters on the show.”
