9th Annual French Creek Iron Tour

This is a bike touring event for all ages and levels of expertise - from young children and parents towing babies to the most seasoned riders looking for a challenge. Offering 7 course options from 10 to 100 miles, it attracts 1,350 riders each year. The course routes pass through bucolic countryside, much of it preseved forever by the event founder, French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust. Riders are rewarded with delicious treats at 4 reststops along the routes and a hearty lunch awaits them at the Kimberton Fire Fairgrounds when they complete the ride. This is a fun and educational day,  promoting both outdoor recreation and the value of open space preservation for this and future generations. Registration is limited to 1,500 riders. Go to www.irontour.org to register.
