Fireworks and First Friday Collide -- If the Weather Holds

We'll have one heck of a party in Phoenixville Friday.

Friday is both the Fourth of July and First Friday, which means we'll have one heck of a party in Phoenixville.

If the weather holds.

The street and music festival runs from 6 to 10 p.m. on Bridge Street between Gay and Starr streets.

A map of venues along Bridge Street is available here on the First Friday website.

On the Main Stage, band The Left Edge will be performing.

Free parking will be available in metered lots from 5 to 9 p.m.

The 15th annual Phoenixville Fireworks will be held at Friendship Field, at the corner of Fillmore Street and Franklin Avenue, though you'll have a great view from downtown at First Friday, too!

Fireworks will begin around 9 p.m.; the rain date is Saturday, July 5.

A number of road closure are planned downtown to accommodate the fun: Main Street will be closed between Bridge and Church streets; Fillmore Street will be closed from Franklin Avenue to South Street; and Franklin Avenue will be closed from Grant Street to Fillmore Avenue.

Have a safe and festive Fourth!
