Reeves Park Decked Out for Christmas

Volunteers get Reeves Park ready for the holiday season.

Volunteers from the Phoenixville Kiwanis Club braved arctic winds to deck the park with bows of holly and evergreens and all kinds of holiday decorations on Sunday. The club sent Phoenixville Patch this description of the day:

“On a cold and windy Sunday afternoon members of the Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville gathered in Reeves Park to decorate the gazebos for the holiday season.  Each gazebo features a freshly-cut tree decorated with lights and is hung with garland, lights and bows.

The Kiwanis Club decorates the gazebos every year for the holidays as a service to the community.  Special thanks to Petrucci’s for giving the Kiwanis Club a discount on the beautiful trees.  Be sure to drive by Reeves Park after dark and enjoy the lights.  It will put you in the holiday spirit!.”
