July 13 wine & Thai tasting at Thai L'Elephant, featuring Black Walnut Winery

Join Black Walnut Winery for a food and wine pairing with their Bridge Street neighbor, Thai L’Elephant Restaurant TONIGHT, July 13th!

This fabulous four-course dinner costs guests only $35 per person (plus tax + tip), with each course perfectly-paired with one of Black Walnut’s top-notch, locally-produced wines.The menu for the Thai-infused collaboration is after the break (warning: don't read when hungry!)


First Course: Choice of Soup Tom Kha
Mild coconut soup with chicken, galangal, lemon grass, mushroom, kaffir lime leaves & lime juice.
Paired with Black Walnut Winery’s 2007 Blanc Franc 

Thai Ravioli
Ground chicken & shrimp wrapped in dumpling sheet served in a light chicken broth.
Paired with Black Walnut Winery’s 2007 Pinot Gris Dry

Second Course: Choice of Appetizer 

Tulip Dumpling Shrimp, chicken and crabmeat wrapped in a tulip shape, then delicately steamed and served with soy vinaigrette; Paired with Black Walnut Winery’s 2009 Iridescence

Por Pia (Crispy Roll) Fried crispy roll with pork, vegetables and glass noodles served with sweet & sour sauce; Paired with Black Walnut Winery’s 2008 Pinot Gris Off-Dry
