Feeling That Fall Chill?

It's not too early to get into the holiday spirit. It's time to volunteer for the Halloween Parade and 2011 Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting!

Sure, the leaves may still be on the trees, but the chill is in the air, and the holidays are never as far off as you think. Besides, everyone loves a parade!

Pheonixville Halloween Parade registration is underway! The event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 18, and as always the event is free to enter! Find out how to get involved by stopping by 123 Main St. or calling 610-933-7728.

It's time to jump start your holiday spirit and light up for the 2011 Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting! Planned for Dec. 2, 2011 at 7 p.m., the Phoenixville Kiwanis have opened the call for volunteers of all sorts.

This family event offers something engaging for everyone, and similarly all are welcome to participate. Specifically, the group is looking for individuals who would like to dress up in character costumes and march in the parade and bring smiles to children (of all ages—because no one can help but smile at an elf costume).

Costumes not your thing? How about taking our your cool ride (antique or classic) out for one last drive of the season, right down the beautiful parade route?

And then the biggest honor of the night—the Kiwanis are looking for that special someone to help pull Santa on a haywagon for his annual visit to Phoenixville.

Also, feel free to reach out to the group if your club of civic group is interested in marching in the parade we are always looking for new participants. As always there is no fee to march (!!!) and floats are welcome!
