Area Florist Dies at 62

She battled for many years with a difficult illness.

Jacqueline K Kendis (1951-2014) of Kimberton passed away Wednesday night.

A longtime resident of the Kimberton area, Jackie Kendis was best known for her floral displays and production of elaborate floral weddings from her business at Village Flower Shop and Stimigo Farm Orchids. 

In her professional career she served as Bursar at Chestnut Hill College, Hanneman University, and Ohio University. She battled for many years with a difficult illness. 

Originally from Ohio, she is survived by her daughter Shannon Nesspor and two brothers and a sister. Please consider donations in her memory to the myelofibrosis research foundation. http://www.mpnresearchfoundation.org/
