Chesco Woman Dies at 65 After Long Fight with Cancer

Services planned for this weekend in Phoenixville.

Margaret (Sears) Howard, 65, of Chesterbrook, PA, died on Monday, December 16, 2013 after a 17 year battle with breast cancer. She was the wife of the late Darrell L. Howard

Born in Lewistown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank D. and Helen (Martin) Sears, and the granddaughter of the late Vernor and Lucretia Martin.

Margaret worked as a Dental Hygenist for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Molly A. wife of Dr. Jeff Lutton of Chambersburg, PA, her grandchildren, Emily, Michael, and Erin Lutton, her longtime partner, Dr. Jerrold Axler of Phoenixville, PA; her brother, Fritz Sears husband of Barb of Boiling Springs, PA; her sister, Patricia Forsythe of Pittsburgh, PA and her nephews, David Sears husband of Jessica and Sam Forsythe.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 3:00 pm.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Phoenixville Hospital Cancer Center, 824 S. Main Street, Suite 101, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
