Danielle Nicole Schmitt-Luteman, 20

Danielle Nicole Schmitt-Luteman, 20, of Phoenixville, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011.  

Danielle was born on December 15, 1990 in Bryn Mawr, PA. She attended Owen J. Roberts High School and continued her education at Montgomery County Community College.

An advocate of animal rights, Danielle had a lifelong affinity for animals in need. She had a special way of connecting with cats, in particular, and was employed as a veterinary technician at the cat rescue organization PALS. She valued her work there and the difference she was making in each animal’s life.            

Danielle enjoyed dance, music, acting and creative arts. She was artistic and liked to sketch drawings. She loved children and babysat for many families in the area. Danielle had a playful side to her personality that resonated with young children.

Danielle is survived by her mother Amy Schmitt and Amy’s partner Scott Doyle; her grandparents Edward and Anita Schmitt; her aunts Erin and Colette Schmitt; her uncle Dane Menkin and her cousin Mari. Danielle is also survived by her father Paul Luteman; his sons Jonah and Xavier; and an extended family that loves her dearly.            

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at 12 p.m. at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville.  

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Contributions in memory of Danielle can be made to PALS, c/o Pat Maloney, 6 Lakeshore Drive, Newtown Square, PA. 19073.

Robert March, 72

Robert L. March, 72, of Glenmoore, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, in Brandywine Hospital.  

He was born in Chester Springs on May 28, 1939 to Frank and Anne (Lilley) March. 

From 1962 to 1965 Robert served in the Army Operating Engineers Division and was stationed at Fort Belvoir, VA, specializing in operation of heavy equipment. During his service, he helped install airport runways and learned many mechanical skills. After his discharge, he worked for several local companies, operating bulldozers and backhoes. 

An outdoorsman, Robert enjoyed hunting, farming, baling hay and raising beef cows.  He also enjoyed gardening and growing Salvia. In 2009, he received a township conservation award. 

Robert is survived by brothers William and Larry March, sister Betty Wayman, and several nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John and Frank March. 

His funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville.  

Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Ricardo Noris, 48

Ricardo Solaya Noris, 48, husband of Susan (Rennard) Noris, of Collegeville, PA, died on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011.

Born in Cuba, he was the son of Antonia (Vega) Solaya of Cuba, and the late Ricardo Tejeda Noris.

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are son Ricardo, daughter Ashlee, son Shawn and a sister, Nancy.

Visitation will be held in the Devlin-Rosmos-Kepp Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 517 S. Main St. at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Betty Musselman, 87

Betty J. (Gerges) Musselman, age 78, wife of the late Vernon H. "Pete" Musselman, of Lower Pottsgrove Township, PA, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 9, 2011 in the Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown, PA.  

Born in Royersford, she was the daughter of the late Daniel C. and Hazel V. (Wood) Gerges.  

Mrs. Musselman was a 1950 graduate of the former Royersford High School. She worked at the former A&P Supermarket, which in later years became Super Fresh. She worked at the Royersford, Pottstown and Phoenixville stores. She retired in 1994 after 30 years of service.  

She was a former member of the Royersford Baptist Church and is a current member of the Berean Bible Church in Lower Pottsgrove. 

Mrs. Musselman is survived by two daughters, Cindy L. Beard of Spring City, PA, and Linda A. Menkins; three brothers,  Daniel Gerges, Kenneth Gerges and wife Kathy, Gary Gerges; and grandson Richard Alexander Menkins. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Cattermole – Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at 11 a.m.  

Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 1620 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Joann Masi, 57

Joann Dru (Brown) Masi, age 57, wife of Dana Masi, of Charlestown, PA, died suddenly in her home on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011.  

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Edward C. and Drucilla (Bowman) Brown. Joann worked as a Director of Clinical Data Management for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and retired in 2010 after 36 years of dedicated service.  

She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Chester and a volunteer at the Paoli Memorial Hospital Breast Center. Joann was an avid reader, a lover of nature, a devoted grandmother, and most importantly, the pillar of strength, generosity, and kindness for all who knew her.

Joann’s legacy lives on through her daughter Danielle, grandson Riley Edward, son-in law Jason, sister Kim, brother-in-law Kevin, brother Edward, sister-in-law Lee, brother Michael, nephews and nieces, Drew, Blake, Cameron, Laura, Melanie, and Amanda, and her beloved dog B.B.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a Memorial Service at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382 on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at 3 p.m.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the West Chester Food Cupboard, 545 E. Gay St., Gay Street Plaza, West Chester, PA 19380 or to the Paoli Hospital Foundation, Development Office, Medical Office Building One, Suite 205, 255 W. Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, PA 19301.
