Penn State Professor from Phoenixville Dies at 82

She taught at the Main and Delaware County campuses.

Hilda (Feist) Duncan, age 82, wife of the late Robert L. Duncan, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Pine Grove, PA died on Saturday morning, August 31, 2013 in the Seasons Hospice at the Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA.  Born in Staten Island, NY, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Hilda (Rasmussen) Feist.  Mrs. Duncan was a professor in the mathematics department of the Pennsylvania State University.  She worked at the main campus and in later years at the Delaware County Campus. 

Mrs. Duncan is survived by three children:  Barbara E. Bailey, of Phoenixville, PA; Ann L., wife of Alexander Prusacki, of King of Prussia, PA; Michael A., husband of Morgan Duncan, of Virginia; one brother: Ernest Feist, of Perth Amboy, NJ; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

The graveside service will be held privately in the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.  The Campbell–Ennis–Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.   Condolences may be made by visiting www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
