Phoenixville Native Dies at 75

She owned a travel agency for more than 20 years

Barbara A. (Dawson) Kathman, 75, of Pottstown, PA, died on Sunday, November 17, 2013 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA.

Born in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Annette H. (Yosko) Dawson.

Barbara was the Owner and Operator of Love Travel in Wayne, PA for over 20 years.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Phoenixville where she played the organ for many years.

She was past president of the Phoenixville Junior Womens Club.

Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca Kathman of East Vincent, PA, her son, John Kathman, Jr. of Vienna, VA, her grandchildren, John Kathman, III and Garrett Kathman, and her brother, Wayne Dawson of Bethel, PA.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday November 21, 2013 at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.

Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice, 700 South Henderson Road, Suite 225, King of Prussia, PA 19406 or to Phoenixville Hospital Cancer Center, 824 South Main Street, Suite 101, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
