Phoenixville Volunteer Dies at 95

Services are planned next week for a woman who dedicated herself to others.

Eileen Rovena (Duclos) Raysor, 95, wife of the late William R. Raysor of Phoenixville, PA, died on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in Atria Woodbridge Place, Phoenixville, PA.

Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Jean Baptiste Duclos and Sarah (Wartner) Duclos.

Eileen was an active member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Phoenixville, a member of the Women's Club of Phoenixville, AARP and Phoenixville Senior Adult Activity Center and the Phoenixville Hospital Senior Circle. She was also a volunteer at the Phoenixville Hospital Thrift Shop.

She is survived by her son, Warren and wife Arie Raysor; daughter, Rovena and husband Morrill Parmley Jr.; daughter, Rebecca Schaeffer; son, Gregory and wife Lynn Raysor; 10 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Raysor and her grandson, Rainer Raysor.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, Main Street and Third Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.

Relatives and Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

In lieu of flower donations can be made to St. Ann’s Church, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
