Phoneixville Library Volunteer Dies at 78

Great grandmother dedicated her life to helping others.

Patricia A. (Brown) Jarrett, age 78, of Gilbertsville, PA died Thursday afternoon, December 27, 2013 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown, PA.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late George W. Brown, III, and Anne M. (Borton) Brown.  She was a graduate of the Germantown Friends School.   Mrs. Jarrett was a homemaker and volunteered for several local organizations, including the Norristown State Hospital and the Phoenixville Library.  She was a very active member of the New Hanover United Methodist Church in Gilbertsville.  She volunteered at the Church as an usher and as a counter. 

 

Mrs. Jarrett is survived by two daughters: Deborah A., wife of David C. Sonnie, of New Hanover Township, PA; Mary J., wife of Sam Andreas, of Limerick, PA; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Jarrett was pre-deceased by one son: Pepper Jarrett.

The funeral services and burial in the Limerick Garden of Memories will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  The Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be made by visiting www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
