Schuylkill Township Residents

The Schuylkill Township Board of directors will meet on Wed. Nov 6 at 7:30 to discuss accepting a new Proposed Planned Residential Development--created by the lawyer of a builder.  This new ordinance would give the builder the right to do whatever he wants, without any interference from the township--even if it is not in the best interest of the township!!!  In the immediate case it would allow the builder to put at least 94 if not 124 homes on a 60 acre plot of ground now farmland (Reeves Property-ff Rt 23) , erroneously  zoned one acre.
Schuykill township does not need another development--and, it certainly doesn't need a development which should be no bigger than 60 to be expanded to 94 , so that the builder can maximize his profits!!
The Ordinance is full of "may" do this and "may" do that which leaves the door wide open to whatever the builder wants to do.  Only an Idiot would pass an ordinance like this and put the entire control in the developer's hands!!
Do not let the Supervisors accept this new Ordinance--which would over ride all others!!!
Call the Supervisors and tell them NO!!!!
Go to the meeting Nov. 6, 7:30!!
