Kids' Argument Precipitates Mom-on-Mom Crime

To settle a playground score, a woman walked into another woman's apartment, attacked her, attacked her husband, and threw a chair at her mother.

A Phoenixville woman was arrested this week after she broke into a woman’s house and attacked her to get revenge for an argument their children had with each other, are reporting.

Adrienne Nicole Jones, 32, faces charges of burglary, criminal trespassing, three counts of assault, three counts of harassment, and four counts of disorderly conduct stemming from the incident.

According to court documents, on September 12 sometime before 6:26 p.m., Jones forced her way into a second floor apartment on the 100 block of Dayton Street to confront a woman over an argument their children had.

Jones initially knocked on the door and demanded the woman come out, but when she refused Jones walked into the apartment uninvited.

Once in the residence, Jones began yelling at the woman’s child, which prompted the woman to, forcefully, tell Jones to leave her apartment. At this point, Jones attacked the woman with her fists and nails, leaving multiple wounds on her face.

When the victim’s husband intervened to escort Jones out of the apartment, Jones attacked him, then, somehow, managed to throw a chair at the victim’s mother. The chair struck the woman.

Jones was arrested, arraigned, and, when she was unable to post pail, confined to Chester County Prison. She faces preliminary hearing on September 20.
