Bank Robbery, Dead Dog, and More Phoenixville Police Blotter

The following incidents occurred in and around the Phoenixville area.

The following incident reports were provided by East Pikeland, Phoenixville, and state police. Arrest does not suggest conviction.

Robber Sought in Phoenixville Federal Bank Incident

The 120 Main St. branch was hit sometime before 10:35 a.m. Wednesday.

According to a witness, the man 'snapped' for no reason.

According to Phoenixville Police, the defendant also had two loaded handguns.

According to Phoenixville Police, four men forced their way into a Bridge Street apartment with a gun. When the residents realized it was a BB gun, they forced them back out.

The title includes a report of a dead dog, but there is no story about it. I'm curious about this because I called the cops a few weeks back about hearing a dog being abused, but nothing seemed to come of it. It'd be nice to hear if whoever was causing the harm I heard was caught. Any word?
