Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation of Lowe's
The threat was received on Saturday night and was cleared by K9 units.
Lowe's in Oaks was evacuated on Saturday night after a bomb threat was called into the store, Upper Providence Police are reporting.
According to a release the department provided Patch, at 6:30 p.m. on June 30 an employee at the Mill Road store called police to report the threat. The store was then cleared and the surrounding area was cordoned off until K9 bomb-sniffing units could arrive.
K9 units from Limerick and Plymouth townships and the Chester County Sheriffs’ Department ultimately responded, searched the building, and found no explosive device.
