Car Crash Leads to Drug Charges for Local Men, Police Say

According to East Pikeland Police, two men were charged with marijuana possession after crashing near the intersection of Kimberton and Pothouse roads.

On Feb. 19 at approximately 3:40 p.m., East Pikeland Police charged an 18-year-old Downingtown man and an 18-year-old Phoenixville man, a resident of the 600 block of Deger Avenue, with possession of a small amount of marijuana after they were involved in an auto accident at the intersection of Kimberton Road and Pothouse Road, the department is reporting.

The men were both processed and released pending a hearing.

Why is it that lately the articles containing illegal behavior and arrests have withheld the names and specifics? Who was arrested? What caused the crash? Did they call the cops or did the cops find them? ... just seems vague to me
