Driver Hospitalized After Charlestown Road Crash

The driver was taken to Paoli Trauma Center.

A driver was hospitalized after their vehicle rolled over on Charlestown Road last weekend, the Kimberton Fire Company is reporting.

According to the company, on October 28 at 6:53 a.m. Kimberton Firefighters and West End EMS were dispatched to Charlestown Road, south of Hilltop Road, for an accident with a subject reported trapped. 

Rescue crews found a vehicle off the roadway and on the other side of a stonewall. Crews found the driver out of the vehicle, which had rolled over.  Kimberton personnel helped West End immobilize the driver and pass them over the wall and to the street.

The driver was transported to Paoli Trauma Center for treatment.  Kimberton crews remained on scene assisting the State Police and Tow Truck until the vehicle was removed from the scene. 

The scene was cleared at 7:34 a.m.  Chief Doug Gable had Command.
