Children in Friday Amber Alert Found Safe

An Amber Alert that had been issued for areas including Chester County is now cancelled.

Pennsylvania State Police say the two West Reading Children who were the subject of an Amber Alert issued Friday morning have been found safe and sound.

According to State Police "both children have been recovered safely and the suspect is in custody."

No other information was available shortly after 10:30 Friday morning.

Earlier Friday Morning State Police had issued this Amber Alert in the case.

On August 29, 2013, at approximately 9:00p.m., Dania Perez, a 6-year-old hispanic female, 40 inches tall, thin build with black hair and brown eyes, and Janeth Perez, an 8-year-old hispanic female , 48 inches tall, thin build, black hair and brown eyes, were abducted from their home in West Reading, PA. 

They were abducted by Hostin Perez-Corza, a 23-year-old Hispanic male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 170 pounds, black hair brown eyes. They fled the scene in a 1999 Ford Expedition, white in color, bearing PA Registration JJZ-5836.  

The Alert has now been cancelled.
