East Pikeland Police Blotter: A Handful of Marijuana Arrests

The following arrest information was supplied by the East Pikeland Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Charges for Marijuana Possession on Schuylkill Road

Ian Jones, 23, of Parkesburg, was stopped in the 200 block of Schuylkill Road for operating a vehicle without an inspection sticker on Saturday, Dec. 17 at approximately 1:25 p.m.

According to police, officers could smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search was conducted and allegedly, a small amount of marijuana was found. Jones was processed and released pending a hearing at a later date.  

Marijuana Possession Charges on Route 724 and Hares Hill Road

On Tuesday, Dec. 20, East Pikeland Police charged Kevin Brennan, 21, of Royersford, with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

According to police, Brennan was stopped for failing to stop for a red traffic signal at route 724 and Hares Hill Road at approximately 6 a.m. When police stopped him they allegedly could smell burnt marijuana coming from the car and observed other drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.  

Charges for Drug Possession in the Wawa Parking Lot

On Tuesday, Dec. 20, at approximately 1:45  a.m., East Pikeland Police charged Tiffani Szabara, 21, of East Pikeland Township, with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

According to police, Szabara was discovered smoking marijuana in the Wawa parking lot located in the 500 block of Kimberton Road.

On Monday, Dec. 19, at approximately 10:40 a.m., Joel Miller, 37, address unknown, was allegedly discovered in a shopping center in the 500 block of Kimberton Road smoking marijuana while seated in his car.

He was arraigned by Judge Daniel Maisano and sent to Chester County Prison after failing to post $1,000 bail.   

Police Hope to Get Help Finding Man Who Passed Counterfeit $100

As reported in an earlier , East Pikeland Police are still hoping the public can help find a man who passed a counterfeit $100 bill at Joe's All American Pub.

The man was caught on a surveillance camera and is pictured above. He is described as a 35- to 40-year-old black male with short black hair wearing a long black coat over greenish hospital scrubs. He also had a large rectangular ring on his left ring finger.

According to police, he entered Joe's, located at 519 Kimberton Road, on Nov. 30 at approximately 7 p.m. and ordered a chicken Caesar salad, which he paid for with the counterfeit bill.
