East Pikeland Police Blotter: Man Smoking Pot in Redner's Lot

The following arrest information was supplied by the East Pikeland Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following incidents were reported recently in East Pikeland Township. This is not an exhaustive list of all police activity.

Alleged Drug Possession in Redner's Parking Lot

A 55-year-old Royersford man was charged with drug possession after police say he was smoking pot in his vehicle, which was parked in the  parking lot.

While on routine patrol on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at approximatley 5:30 p.m., East Pikeland Police investigated a car in the Redner's parking lot with the windows steamed up and one occupant inside.

Accoring to police, officers could smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. Gary Blanchard was charged possession of marijuana, processed and released.

Stereo Equipment Stolen on Schuylkill Road

Sometime between Nov. 5 and Nov. 15, someone removed $2500 worth of stereo equipment from a vehicle parked to the rear of M and H Transmission in the 400 block of Schuylkill Road.

Alleged DUI at Hares Hill and Route 113

At approximately 12:49 p.m. on Nov. 21, East Pikeland Police responded to an accidnet on Route 113 at Hares Hill Road.

Following the accident investigation, Randall Smith, 41, of Royersford, was charged with driving under the influence. He was processed and released pending a hearing at a later date.

Alleged DUI on Dawn Way 

Police were called for a report of a trespasser in the 2600 block of Dawn way on Nov. 17 at approximately 10:41 a.m. 

Police stopped a vehicle matching the description of the one involved with the trespasser and found Kathryn Lampert, 37, of Wilmington, DE, allegedly behind the wheel and under the influence of alcohol. 

Lampert was charged with driving under the influence and processed and released pending a later hearing date.
