The following arrest information was supplied by the East Pikeland Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Man Charged for Scrap Metal Theft
East Pikeland Police charged John Klette, 29, of West Chester, with theft of scarp metal on Saturday, Sept. 17 at approximately 11:10 a.m.
The owner of Ott’s Auto Body was coming home and allegedly saw Klette in a blue pickup truck leaving the property with scarp metal in the back.

Working with the Westtown-East Goshen Police Department, police were able to arrest Klette. A hearing is pending.
Computer Stolen from Staples

On Saturday, Sept. 17 between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. a thief stole a Dell Inspiron 14-inch black laptop from the Staples store on Schuylkill Roa.d
The computer is valued at $200.

Retail Theft at Redners
Police cited Alyx Lynn Leck, 23, of Pottstown, with retail theft after she allegedly stole $12.98 worth of merchandize from the Redners Market on Schuylkill Road.
The alleged incident occurred on Monday, Sept. 19 at approximately 4:30 p.m.
DUI Arrest on Route 23
On Sept. 16 at approximately 11 p.m., police reported seeing Edward Stillman, 41, of Pottstown, driving on Route 23 with a registration light out.
According to police, Stillman failed field-sobriety tests and he was charged with driving under the influence. A hearing is pending.
