East Pikeland Police Blotter: Police Seeking Person who Shot, Disemboweled Cat

Police Investigating Animal Abuse on Snyder Avenue

The East Pikeland Police and the Chester County SPCA are investigating an animal abuse case that occurred in the 1000 block of Snyder Avenue sometime between Oct. 14 and Oct. 15.

Unknown actors shot a cat and pulled some of the cat’s insides out of its body. This case is under investigation and anyone with information is being asked to contact the East Pikeland Police at 610-935-0606.

Underage Drinking at Cromby Station

On Sunday Oct. 16, East Pikeland Police while on routine patrol at the Cromby Station cited one juvenile male for underage drinking.

He was discovered hiding on the property and ran from police when confronted. He was cited and released to his mother.

Phone, Cash Stolen from Car

On or about 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 14, a white male about 16 years of age wearing a purple shirt with black pants took a BlackBerry phone and cash from a vehicle parked at the rear of the Maple Lawn Shopping Center.

The phone was valued at $500. Anyone with information as to who this person may be is asked to contact the East Pikeland Police.    

DUI on Schuylkill Road

On Oct. 11, on or about 12:15 a.m., East Pikeland Police charged Brendan Conner, 30, of Spring City, with driving under the influence after he was stopped for speeding in the 600 block of Schuylkill Road.

He was processed and released pending a hearing at a later time.
