East Pikeland Police Blotter: Royersford Man Arrested for Cocaine

A Royersford man was charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance.

Editor's note: All parties are innocent until proven guilty.

  • A Royersford man faces charges of DUI and possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop in the 600 block of Schuylkill Road.

Mason Williams, 34, of Royersford, was pulled over for allegedly going 70 mph in a 45 mph zone on Friday at approximately 12:30 a.m. When East Pikeland Police stopped the Pontiac Trans Am, the officer smelled alcohol. Police also allegedly noticed two bags of cocaine in plain sight on the back floor of the Trans Am.

Williams was charged, processed and released pending a hearing at a later date.

  • Between March 2 and March 3, a thief removed two junk juke boxes from the 400 block of Schuylkill Road. The juke boxes are valued at $100.
