The Pottstown Mercury is reporting that Sunday night's house fire in Phoenixville destroyed an abandoned home. There were no injuries.

Numerous firefighters are on the scene of a house fire at 2 Railroad Street in Phoenixville.
The first reports of the fire came in a little before 7 p.m. and firefighters are still on the scene.
According to an eyewitness, smoke can be seen coming from the second floor of the house.
According to a post on the Phoenixville Facebook page: “The fire is at 2 Railroad St. Fully engulfed they were cutting trees that embers caught on fire. The following stations were there 65 61 67 68 mickey67 Montco 99.”
