Kyle Place is Phoenixville's newest police officer. He was sworn in by Phoenixville Mayor Leo Scoda Monday night at the beginning of the Phoenixville Borough Council meeting.
Officer Place is a graduate of the Hill School, he attended Susquehanna University where he studied business and is a graduate of the Reading Police Academy.
His parents, Keith and Karen Place, held the bible and witnessed the swearing in. He will join the ranks of the Phoenixville Police Department as a patrolman.
