No One Hurt as School Bus, Car Collide on Route 29

Rush-hour traffic approaching Phoenixville was snarled as a Custer’s school bus and a car collided on Route 29 in Mont Clare.

The accident occurred Tuesday afternoon shortly after 4:20 p.m. Upper Providence Township Police said two students were on the bus, and no one was injured in the accident.

The car was traveling northbound on Route 29 and the bus was traveling in the southbound lane, just near the railroad overpass and the intersection of Route 29 and Grace Street.

The car was towed from the scene, and the bus received minor damage and was driven away. An investigation is ongoing, according to Upper Providence Police.

The accident was cleared up by 4:50 p.m.
