Phoenixville Federal Bank Robbed, Again

Police believe it was the same man who robbed the Main Street bank on Feb. 20.

For the second time in eight weeks, Phoenixville Federal Bank and Trust on Main Street was robbed, Phoenixville Police are confirming. The department believes the same man was responsible for both robberies.

According to Sgt. Joseph Nemic, who is investigating the case, sometime before 11:55 a.m., a white male in his early 20s entered the bank, threatened employees with a black revolver, and demanded money from a teller.

The robber, who police say is approximately 5'10" to 6'0" with dark hair, concealed his face with the collar of his jacket, but was captured by the bank's security camera. (Those images are attached to this article.)
