Phoenixville Man Allegedly Made Bomb Threat to NJ Town Hall

NJ.com and Morristown Patch are reporting that a Phoenixville man was jailed in New Jersey last week after allegedly he called in a bomb threat to the Morristown Town Hall on his cellphone—without blocking his number.

Police say it was an easy case to solve.

According to the report, Vincent Pasquarello was due in Morris County Superior Court the morning of January 2 when he called the Town Hall and said, "a man told me to call this number and say there is a bomb in the building" before immediately hanging up. It's possible he meant to call the courthouse, which is located on the other side of the time.

The caller ID quickly identified the number as belonging to his mother, "Pasquarello, Min," and the local police traced it back to him.

Pasquarello was quickly tracked down and arrested in the town on unrelated traffic warrants. He admitted to making the call and was taken to Morris County Correctional Facility.
