Phoenixville Man Arrested on Crack Charges

Police say Jason Flagg carried four bags of crack cocaine and almost $500 when he was pulled over on January 2.

A Phoenixville man is in Chester County Prison after police say he was arrested with crack cocaine he intended to sell.

According to court documents, Jason Monroe Flagg, 23, was pulled over on the evening of January 2 by a Phoenixville Police officer who recognized him and knew he was driving his Ford Taurus on a suspended license.

A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a glass pipe the officer believed was used to smoke marijuana and multiple plastic baggies in the glove box. After the vehicle was towed and Flagg was taken to the station,  a search of his person turned up more contraband. Tucked into his flannel underwear, the man carried two plastic bags: one that contained four separate bags of crack cocaine and a second that contained marijuana.
