Phoenixville Police Blotter: Man Caught with Methadone

The following incidents were reported on May 8.

Methadone on Vanderslice Street

According to police, Joseph P. Mahoney Jr., 30, of Phoenixville, had two methodone pills wrapped in a tissue and a red straw containing a white power residue.

Police were in contact with Mahoney because he was being arrested for an active warrant on May 8 at 4:50 p.m. They then found the pills and straw.

Mahoney was arraigned and sent to Chester County Prison on $5,000 cash bail.

Trespass on High Street

Someone broke a second-floor window and gained entry to a residence in the 200 block of West High Street.

The incident was reported on May 8 at 9:59 p.m.

Hit and Run on Nutt Road

Someone hit a vehicle parked in the 700 block of Nutt Road shortly before 5 p.m. on May 8.

The driver who hit the car fled the scene. Police were conducting an investigation to see if they could find the driver.

Public Urination on Bank Street

Matthew R. Moley, 23, of Phoenixville, was cited for urinating in public on May 8 at 12 a.m. in the unit block of Bank Street.

Public Drunkenness in the Prospect Street Lot

Police found Laura A. Yelk, 47, of Royersford, passed out in her vehicle in the Prospect Street municipal lot.

The incident occurred at 12:37 a.m. on May 8. Yelk was cited for public drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness on Bridge Street

Police observed Brian Dunleavy, 43, of Paoli, staggering around in the 300 block of Bridge Street on May 8 at 1:16 a.m.

Dunleavy was cited for public drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness in the Taylor Alley Lot

Martin J. Early, 24, of Royersford, was found intoxicated and passed out in his vehicle, according to police.

On May 8 at approximately 2:13 a.m., Early was arrested and cited for public drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness at Prospect and Main

Police heard a female screaming near Prospect and Main streets and located Amber Leah Fuller, 20, stumbling in the roadway.

Fuller was taken into custody and cited for public drunkenness and underage drinking on May 8 shortly after 2:44 a.m.

DUI on Church Street

Police arrested Jennifer Maiden, 32, for driving under the influence in the 200 block of Church Street on May 8 at 3:30 a.m.
