Phoenixville Police Blotter: Overdose, DOA, and a Stolen Bike

The following incident reports were provided by the Phoenixville Police Department.

Alcohol Overdose on Bridge Street

On August 5 at 1:09 a.m., Phoenixville Police responded to a reported alcohol overdose on the 200 block of Bridge Street. Upon arrival, police found a 25-year-old resident of the 300 block of Franklin Avenue awake and coherent, though his friend reported that he had passed out. The friend was allowed to drive him home and EMS was recalled.

On August 4 at 9:36 p.m., Phoenixville police received report of an alcohol overdose at a residence on E. Walnut Street. When they arrived, the wife of a 59-year-old man reported that her husband had drank two quarts of vodka before passing out in the bathroom. Officers noted the man was passed out, nude, in the bathroom and incoherent. West End Ambulance transported the man to Phoenixville Hospital.

A 56-year-old Phoenixville man was found dead in his home on the 1000 block of Bridge Street last weekend. On August 4 at 10:32 p.m., police received report that Michael Oneder was found dead, by his sister, in their residence. Because of his past medical history, Oneder’s body was released to Devin-Rosmos-Kepp funeral home.

Stolen Bicycle

A bicycle and three pairs of women’s shoes were stolen from a home on the 900 block of Winding River Lane on July 14, police are reporting. The Trek bike is value at $280. The owner of the residence told police she may have left the garage door open.
