Police Aim to Find Stolen Hockey Goal

One of the goals at the Upper Providence Township Recreation Center was found stolen yesterday. Police are asking for help finding it.

Seems like some locals might have gotten a little too excited that hockey season is back in full swing.

According to the Upper Providence Police Department, sometime between January 25 and January 28, someone stole one of the goals from the township’s recreational center hockey rink, located at 499 Hopwood Road.

The goal has a red crossbar and outer posts, white interior posts and net, and is valued at $675.

The department is asking that anyone with information on the goal’s whereabouts contact Detective Patrick Haines at 610-933-7899.
