Police: Borough Man Assaulted Woman, Threatened Her Life

The alleged incident happened in the Pickering Creek Inn on Monday.

A borough man was arrested on Monday after Phoenixville Police say he assaulted and threatened to kill a woman in his Bridge Street apartment.

According to court documents, on January 21 at 5:18 a.m., police responded to the Pickering Creek Inn for a reported domestic dispute in progress.

Upon arrival, the victim told police that Michael Ferko, 51, punched her multiple times and told her that he was going to kill her. The victim had abrasions and cuts on her face and chest.

Ferko was taken into custody and charged with making terroristic threats, two counts of simple assault, two counts of disorderly conduct, and an additional count of harassment.

He faces preliminary hearing on January 31.
