Police: Fired Phoenixville Man Threatened 'Shooting Rampage'

Police say the man also made terroristic threats in September.

A Phoenixville man was arrested last week after police say he responded to news he’d been fired from his job at a local pharmacy by threatening to shoot everyone in the store.

Travis Kevin Miller Jr., 21, faces charges of disorderly conduct and making terroristic threats stemming from the alleged October 1 incident.

According to court documents, sometime before 2:42 p.m. that afternoon, Miller, a now-former employee of Gateway Pharmacy, was informed by the store’s security manager that he had been fired.

As security escorted him to the door, Miller turned around and shouted “[I’m gonna] go on a shooting rampage and kill all you [expletives].”

Miller, who has outstanding charges of terroristic threats and harassment stemming from a September 9 incident, then left the premises on foot.

Miller was arraigned on October 11 and released from Chester County Prison on $7,500 bail. He faces preliminary hearing on October 18.
