Police Hope to Find Man Who Held Up Nutt Road 7-Eleven

The Phoenixville armed robbery is likely connected to two others in the area, according to police.

A man with a white cloth over his face showed a knife and got away with cash from the store in Phoenixville early Sunday morning.

According to Det. Sgt. Joseph Nemic of the Phoenixville Police Department, the call came in to police at 4:14 a.m. on Dec. 18 for an armed robbery at 200 Nutt Road. Borough police have been working with officers in Lower Pottsgrove and Limerick, where a man matching the description held up a Turkey Hill and 7-Eleven, respectively, earlier Sunday night.

The robber is described as a tall white male, nearly six-feet tall, wearing blue jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt. He had a white cloth covering most of his face and was wearing blue latex gloves at the time of the robberies, Nemic said.

Police aren't sure if the man fled each scene on foot or in a vehicle, according to Nemic, but there is video of the robber in action and police are reviewing that.

A knife was shown in all three cases and the man got away with cash in all three instances, Nemic said. He added that Phoenixville Police are working with the other area departments to catch the robber.
