Police: Man, Passed Out Near Bridge, Arrested on Drug Charges

The alleged incident occurred on December 5.

A Valley Forge man faces drug charges after police say a pedestrian saw him passed out in the area of the low bridge.

In addition to possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia charges, Kenneth Richard Adams, 42, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after the December 5 incident.

According to court documents, at 10:24 p.m., a Phoenixville Police officer responded to the low bridge for a report of a man laying on the ground. When he was en route to the scene, the reporting party told police that the man had gotten to his feet and was “staggering” up the hill.
