Police: Phoenixville Woman Assaulted Roommate
She kicked him in the groin in front of officers.
A Phoenixville woman was arrested on Sunday after she assaulted her male roommate in their home, kicking him in the groin in full view of officers, Phoenixville Police are reporting.
Kelly Anne Boyce, 34, faces charges of simple assault and harassment stemming from the September 23 incident.
According to court documents, at 11:15 p.m. that evening, police responded to a reported domestic dispute between Boyce and a man who shares a house with her on the 100 block of Harvest Lane. The nature of their relationship is unclear.

Upon arrival, police had a brief discussion with both parties and the man agreed to leave for the night. An officer accompanied him as he grabbed his belongings, while Boyce asked him to stay.
At one point, she grabbed ahold of him and he asked her to leave him alone.

Finally, as he was grabbing some things from his nightstand table, Boyce, according to the affidavit of probable cause, reared back and kicked him in the upper thigh or groin. Officers immediately placed her under arrest.
Boyce faces preliminary hearing on October 4.
