Police: Speeding Stop Leads to Drug Discovery

Police said there was strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and a search of the car yielded more marijuana.

East Pikeland Police who stopped a car for speeding ended up finding marijuana in the vehicle.

Police stopped a speeding car around 7:15 p.m. Saturday, they said. The car was driven by Nathan Perry, 20, of the 400 block of Hidden Lane in Gilbertsville.

Police said there was strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and a search of the car yielded more marijuana.

Perry faces undisclosed charges and was released pending a hearing at a later date, police said.
